By plane
Taking a taxi from the airport to Marienplatz takes approximately 45 minutes. S-Bahn rapid transit services (S8 or S1) direction “Innenstadt” to Marienplatz station take approx. 40 to 50 minutes.
By train
Taking a taxi from the central train station (Hauptbahnhof) to Marienplatz takes approx. 10–15 minutes. S-Bahn rapid transit services (all trains) direction „Innenstadt“ to Marienplatz station take approx. 5 minutes.
