Peter Harter

Peter Harter has been working in corporate finance advisory for more than 20 years. He specialises in advising on M&A transactions on the sell side and deal sourcing for strategic buyers and financial investors in the focus sector of information technology.

Before founding SAXO Equity GmbH, Peter Harter was responsible – most recently as a partner – for numerous investments in start-up and growth companies in the information technology, electronics and communications sectors at an international venture capital company with his own team of investment managers. Previously, he initiated and supported numerous M&A transactions, IPOs and growth financing.

Prior to his work in corporate finance and private equity, Peter Harter trained as a banker at Dresdner Bank AG and studied business administration in conjunction with a degree in business administration at Siemens AG before working in group auditing at Mannesmann AG. He then worked for several years at Price Waterhouse in the area of auditing and consulting for medium-sized and international industrial and financial services companies.
